The ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Department of Public Safety is committed to fostering a safe, secure, and welcoming campus environment where faculty, staff, and students can live, work, and learn without fear or disruption. Guided by the principles of community policing, we strive to build strong, collaborative relationships through transparency, mutual respect, and proactive engagement. Our mission is to provide professional law enforcement and security services that not only protect but also empower our campus community, ensuring that safety is a shared responsibility and a foundation for academic and personal success.

Campus Safety Reports and Plans 

Special Events on Campus

The ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Department of Public Safety (CUDPS) provides police and security services for special events held on the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ main campus, affiliated properties, and leased venues. Special events are defined as university-approved, planned occurrences or rentals, that fall outside the scope of normal campus operations. The need for police and security at an event is solely at the desecration of CUDPS.

Planning an Event at ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ?

To ensure a safe and well-coordinated event, please complete the Special Event Request Form and submit it to Public Safety for approval.
